Yunca solid fuel and gas fires are proudly made in the deep south of New Zealand and have been subject to a comprehensive research and development programme.
All critical components and air flow controls have been rigorously tested for safety and peak efficiency.
Yunca heaters are warranted, with proof of purchase, to the first owner of each appliance for a period of 12 months, commencing on date of delivery of the appliance in new and unused state.
Repair or replacement is at Yunca’s discretion and includes associated labour costs but excludes freight and travel costs.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by mishandling, misuse, failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions, or work done by others, such as installers, or plumbers etc.
The manufacturer shall not be responsible for site conditions such as insufficient draught, downdraughts, or routine servicing and adjustments.
All consumables (e.g seals) and replaceable parts (e.g grates) gas and electrical components are warranted for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
If a defect occurs, inform your dealer and the part will be repaired or replaced at our option.
EXTENDED FIREBOX WARRANTY – following the initial 12 month warranty the firebox continues to be covered as follows:
YUNCA CLEAN-AIR WOODBURNER FIREBOX: is covered by a further NINE YEAR warranty against defects during normal domestic use.
YUNCA MULTIFUEL FIRE and YUNCA GAS HEATER FIREBOX: is covered by a further FOUR YEAR warranty against defects during normal domestic use.
During the extended warranty period Yunca will repair or replace, free of charge, any part of the firebox requiring repair or replacement as a result of defective material or workmanship in manufacture and/or assembly.

The Yunca Group is wholly New Zealand owned and operated and is based in Invercargill. Established in 1977 by Terry Young under the philosophy “quality first”, the Group has continued to expand.
The design, manufacture and distribution of a range of domestic, solid fuel and gas-fired heating appliances has been a core activity for over 30 years.
PANEL FINISH & COLOUR RANGE
Solid fuel fires, Freestanding Gas fires: Yunca uses a vitreous enamel finish for panel colours which withstand extreme heat and will not deteriorate over time. Standard enamel colours across the range of fires produced by Yunca are Gunmetal Black and Charcoal. The exceptions for this are the Hobson and Fitzroy woodburners - Charcoal is a premium (non-standard) colour. All other colours (shown in the product brochure) are optional for certain models at an additional cost. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks from time of order to delivery for these non-standard colour options.
The Indoor Allure Gas open fire fascia panels are finished in heat resistant powder coat, colour range is available is Silver or Gunmetal Black, with Stainless Steel as an optional upgrade. The Outdoor Allure gas open fires feature a Stainless Steel fascia and weather cover.
The entis fascia is finished in heat resistant powdercoat. The fascia front can be either black or silver and the backing frame can be black, silver or grey.
APPROVED CLEARANCES AND CLEAN AIR APPROVALS SOLID FUEL
All Yunca solid fuel fires shown on this website (with the exception of the Inbuilt Multi) have been tested and clearance approved to comply with AS/NZS 2918:2001.
All models (the exception of the multi-fuel BLENZ and MULTI INBUILT models) have been tested and approved to comply with the clean air requirements of AS/NZS 4013:1999 sub 1.5g/kg particulates and 65% thermal efficiency or better, to meet national clean air standards.
